About the Role
Build the financial strategy, governance, controls and investment discipline required for sustainable growth.
Build the financial architecture for a group preparing for institutional capital and international operations: controls, consolidation, planning and board-grade reporting across a multi-entity technology, education and health group.
This is not a maintenance role. We are not recruiting senior people simply to operate systems that already exist — we are looking for leaders who can build what does not yet exist. The appointment carries a clearly defined mandate, meaningful decision authority and direct accountability for measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Group financial strategy, planning, forecasting and unit-economics discipline.
- Group-wide financial controls, governance and audit readiness.
- Investment appraisal and capital-allocation frameworks.
- Fundraising and investor processes, including due-diligence readiness.
- Board and investor reporting on a reliable calendar.
- Management of regulatory and financial-risk exposure across all entities.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA) or Master's in Finance — or equivalent qualification.
- 15+ years in senior finance roles, including 5+ years as CFO, Finance Director or equivalent.
- Evidence of strengthening controls, audit outcomes or investment discipline with quantified results.
- Experience with board reporting and financial governance.
- Multi-entity consolidation and fundraising exposure preferred.
